Join the P.C.Y.D. for a VIRTUAL 5k fundraiser to support St. Pete’s
Fighting Chance Fund.

and Sunday, May 31, 2020
This virtual 5k is a give back to our community while staying safe and healthy!
The Young Dems are encouraging members to participate in the Fighting Chance Fund’s Virtual 5K or donate. The Fighting Chance Fund is an emergency grant for St. Pete’s locally owned and independently operated small businesses that have been negatively impacted by local COVID-19 orders.
How does it work?
…like a normal charity run, except you don’t have to wake up at 7 am on a Saturday.
- Register Online
Sign up online to reserve your spot in the Fighting Chance 5k. Registration is $35 and includes a custom medal and race bib for the first 300 runners. Be sure to add “Pinellas County Young Democrats” as your organization.
- Put on the Blue Shirt
Since we don’t get to participate as a group, we can still be together in spirit. Nothing says young Democrat like a bright blue shirt.
- Get out and RUN … or take a Leisurely Stroll
You set the time, place and pace! It couldn’t be easier. Just be sure enjoy your time outdoors.
- Snap a Photo
This is the most important part. Post your photos on social media* and be sure to tag:
@PinellasYD, @LeadershipStPete, @StPeteChamber & use the hashtag #FightingChance5K. If you are supporting a specific St. Pete business that you love, this is a good time to give the a shout out as well.
* If you aren’t currently using social media, you can email your photos to info@pcyd.org. We will make sure you are included in the final tally.
