A Note From PCYD President

Dear PCYD Members and Friends,

As you are aware the United States is under the National State of Emergency due to the rapid spread of COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution and in an effort to protect our community, we are CANCELING OUR MONTHLY MEETING and previously scheduled Watch Party. We will certainly plan another event once we are cleared to resume meetings and large gatherings.

However, all is not lost, we are encouraging members to JOIN US VIRTUALLY on Election Night in our SLACK CHANNEL. We can all watch the returns while adhering to proper social distancing protocols. If you have not already done so, please join our channel. If you need assistance, email Alex at membership@pcyd.org.

There have been several changes with early voting and new guidance issued from the Supervisor of Elections regarding COVID-19.Click Here to see if these changes affect you. ONWARD

There is more that we can do. There are plenty of races where we can help get our candidates across the finish line in Gulfport, Clearwater, Pinellas Park, Oldsmar, and Safety Harbor. Thanks to the prep work involved in Foresight 2020, we have the capacity & experience to run virtual text banks. The work continues. We will keep you up-to-date with volunteer opportunities.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will be updating you all via social media, email, and Slack. Make sure you are following us on those platforms. Stay safe friends. Wash your hands often. Practice social distancing. Stay home if you are not feeling well. And remember we are Stronger Together!
